Getting excited for a little jaunt to Quebec City this weekend. Crepes, Poutine and La Fin du Monde, here we come. Hopefully, after I come out of that food coma, I'll be able to wrangle some of my family over to see the Quebec in Design. 75years of Works from the Collection of the MNBAQ exhibit at the Musée National des Beaux-Arts.
Most excited to see one of the original versions of the "Solair" chair, a 1970s gem we've seen every summer on motel balconies lining route 1A up in York, Maine, designed by Fabio Fabiano and Michelange Panzini for IPL Plastics in Canada. Wonder if they have any for sale in the gift shop?
